OSCHC planning to set up Travel Stoppage Centre & Food Centre at Tara Tarini Hill Shrine

The Odisha State Cooperative Housing Corporation (OSCHC) would now enter into the hospitality industry and tourism sector. We are proposing to diversify into the tourism and hospitality sector, said the OSCHC Managing Director, Ram Mohan Patra.
According to him, the Corporation would take up the infrastructure building projects under World Habitat Programme.
The Corporation is planning to set up Travel Stoppage Centres (TSCs) along with a Small Food Centres (SFCs) at famous pilgrim places of the state like Tara Tarini hill Shrine (the oldest Shakti Peetha and Sthana Peetha of Adi Shakti) in Ganjam district, Biraja Kshetra in Jajpur district, Samaleswari Temple in Sambalpur district, Aradi-Akhandalmani in Bhadrak district, Kapilash in Dhenkanal district and Buguda Biranchi Naryan Temple in Ganjam district ect.
The Food Centres would serve local cuisine, said the Managing Director.
Mr. Patra said that the OSCHC would also set up dwelling units in rural areas with the support of the National Cooperative Development Council (NCDC).
